Mission Statement
Inter-Cultural Neighbourhood Social Services is a multi-service
centre that delivers social programs and inter-cultural activities, while
promoting community partnerships to build a strong and dynamic society.
Description
- ICNSS is one of only two neighbourhood drop-in centres in Central
Mississauga-providing services and programs to approximately 50,000 clients
annually.
- The greater portion of clients is either from the immigrant and refugee group
or from the visible and racial minority group. A fully incorporated and
registered charity, ICNSS receives financial support from the Government of
Canada, the Government of Ontario, the Regional Municipality of Peel, the United Way
of Peel Region, the Trillium Foundation and private donors.
- This agency is community-based, with individual memberships, a volunteer
board of directors, staff and a volunteer base.
