Family Time
Every
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the ICNSS main office.
Every Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Woodlands Library at 1030 McBride Avenue
Every Monday from 09:00 am to 11:00 am at Lancaster Hub, 7425 Netherwood Drive
Agenda includes Games and toys; seasonal arts and crafts; pre-school educational materials. Share your parenting experiences!
Seniors
An exciting
new program for seniors. A comfortable room for seniors to socialize in,
supplied with refreshments! Library, arts & crafts, music and movies of your
choice. Fun filled social games. Guest speakers on topics of your choice such as
health, pension plan, housing assistance etc. Discussion time, trips (subject to
weather)
Seniors facility opens 5 days a week. See weekly schedule below:
- Caribbean Seniors Group: Every Monday afternoon 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.;
- South Asian Seniors Group: Every Tuesday afternoon 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
- Polish Seniors Group: Every Wednesday afternoon 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
- Chinese Seniors Group: Every Thursday afternoon 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
- Chinese Seniors Group: Every Friday afternoon 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Volunteers needed
Would you like to:- Lend a helping hand and contribute to the welfare of the community?
- Help with fun filled activities for children and moms?
- Meet people from various cultures, play with children and do various activities with mothers?
- Help with activities for seniors from different cultures?
